This site is dedicated to Morgan Kilcommons, known as Molly's Big Little Bro. Named for its Celtic meaning "Sea Born," Morgan—a Scottish Deerhound mix born in Arizona—was aptly named since Arizona could be considered a sea of deserts as the only state to contain all four North American Deserts. As his fourth owner by nine months old, we are glad he had a proper Celtic name.
Morgan loved water in all forms: swimming in pools during winter, exploring lakes and rivers in the Rockies, and playing in snow, especially with his dad.
Morgan was loved by all. He had a happy go lucky, play with me attitude. He all so had a very loving side (often expressed while being a bed hog). He also had a very protective sidee. Twice in Colorado, once in Denver and once on the outskirts of Durango, Morgan went after multiple coyotes that he thought had gotten to close to us. Morgan was on a leash in Denver but I had never seen coyotes turn tail in fright like they did. The ones outside of Durango were not so lucky.
Morgan was an incredible friend. 15 and a half years together, through both good times and bad times. He was like his big sister in that one could not ask for a better companion to travel thoough life.
